As much as 10 cigarette billboards in a number of roads in Cempaka Putih Sub-district, Central Jakarta, were removed. The effort was taken since the billboards violated Governor Regulation No. 1/2015 about Cigarette Billboard Ban.

Chief of Billboard Control for Local Revenue Service Unit of Cempaka Putih Sub-district, Wirawan, explained that his side removed a number of billboards along Jalan Cempaka Putih Raya, Jalan Percetakan Negara, Jalan Ahmad Yani, and Jalan Letjend Suprapto.

This effort, he added, also as a warning for other billboard owners to pay the tax.
